I just want to play around with fldigi and see what happens. Not a serious contester here folks and I know all about N1MM, MMTTY, WriteLog, etc. I assume I'll need to create & open a new log (NA-Sprint 2022 or something to that effect) and have it ready before the contest.Īny other info you have would be appreciated.

flaa - Rig Expert Antenna Analyzer control program. flcluster - telnet client to remote DX cluster servers. flnet - voice net controller database / check-in application. fllog - can use same data file as fldigi.
#FLDIGI CONTEST MACROS MANUAL#
It is explained in the manual but I'm not sure I understand what's needed.ģ. flwkey - modem program for the K1EL Winkeyer series.
#FLDIGI CONTEST MACROS HOW TO#
I think I know how to capture a Call sign and/or Serial number (just left rrect?) but this contest needs a whole string of info to make the contact legit. Any changes to the "Text Capture Order" box or leave that as is?Ģ. I assume that gets filled in just like a macro ( ) so I can configure a macro with to send the whole string. What needs to go into the "Contest Exchange" box. In fldigi main window if you go to config, contest & general there's a drop down box that allows you to chose which contest you're setting up for. I'm going to give the North American Sprint contest a go but do have a few questions.ġ. I know there are better programs for contesting but just want to give it a try as a stand alone, not a plugin for N1MM or something. Getting bored so thought I would give fldigi a try on rtty contests. Any other info you have would be appreciated.
