If you see two with the same name, it might be that Firealpaca created two confiq folders.

  • Search “User>Appdata>Local” for the “Brush.ini” file again.
  • If not, make a copy of that correct Confiq Folder onto a drive, just in case and try doing a clean install, then replacing the default confiq folder with your own. Try uninstall-reinstall and see if that works. If it’s your own, then there must be some sort of disconnect between where your new Firealpaca is getting the user data vs where it actually is. Just check if the brush list is your own or the default one. This has all of your brushes and their data in a list. You can also open the “Brush.ini” file in notepad. Go to: Help > Open Confiq folder and check if in the Brushes folders, you can see your original brush bitmaps.

    Even if I download brushes from the store, I can only use the current brush (ie the one I just downloaded) and I cannot find the previous brush. But now I can't find the list of brushes or my existing brushing.
